WSBC has partnered with Platinum Partner TAFE NSW to deliver a selection of NSW Government funded TAFE short courses to our members. 

2017/2018 financial members will be able to register multiple staff for selected courses to be held throughout the year. Course descriptions will be announced shortly.

Delivering Memorable Presentations: Presentation Skills and Public Speaking

Give your presentations the edge and get the outcomes you want by learning how to articulate your points carefully and confidently, knowing when and how to use tools such as PowerPoint and how to think and act on your feet.

This course will help you handle your fear of presenting and speaking to a crowd so that you can make a memorable impression every time.


Negotiating for Success: Written and Oral Communication in the Workplace

Negotiation is a vital management skill, essential to building, improving and maintaining business relationships.

Learn how to negotiate successfully, close more deals and improve your business relationships by expressing your point of view articulately in both written and verbal communications.


Advanced Computer Applications and Social Media

Tailored specifically for SME’s, this course teaches advanced skills across all Microsoft Office applications.

You will also develop an understanding of social media including content marketing and platforms; comprising LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to enable you to develop a strategic social acquisition campaign.


Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Nationally recognised certificate mandatory for anyone required to serve or sell alcohol in any venue or workplace in NSW.



First Aid 

Providing participants with a nationally-accredited qualification required to be a First Aid representative in the workplace.




Aspects of Aboriginal Culture

This short course will provide participants with an introduction into Aboriginal Culture. Participants will gain knowledge of pre-invasion, touching on the Dreaming, cultural beliefs and protocols. Participants will learn the importance of Country and take a Walk through Country. This course aims to increase awareness and appreciation of Aboriginal Culture.
