Meet the Buyer 2026: Strategic Matching Event
Want to win more procurement contracts in Western Sydney?
The Connection are inviting Western Sydney businesses to submit an Expression of Interest to the premier business matching initiative connecting local SMEs with active procurers from across Western Sydney.
How does it work?
Interested businesses need to submit their Expression of Interest by COB Wednesday 15th July 2026 to be considered for this event.
Businesses that best match the services and/or products that our buyers are looking to procure will be selected by our business matching panel and invited to attend.
Selected businesses will be scheduled to meet with active buyers and service providers from the list below. Each meeting will be one-on-one for a duration of 15 minutes.
Confirmed Buyers will be announced closer to date – You will be able to put through your preferences when Expression of Interest Submission Closes.
Meet the Buyer is designed to elevate the visibility of Western Sydney SMEs and help establish new business relationships with buyers who have upcoming procurement needs for projects planned over the next 12 to 18 months.
Through a series of pre-scheduled, 15-minute one-on-one meetings, your business will gain direct access to major procurement opportunities and valuable industry insights.
This strategic networking event goes beyond conversations - it’s about opening doors, building long-term partnerships, and enhancing local capability. By supporting local suppliers, we strengthen Western Sydney’s economy and help create more local jobs.
This opportunity is ideal for Western Sydney small to medium enterprises (SMEs) that are looking to grow their business through upcoming procurement opportunities.
We encourage submissions from businesses that:
- Provide products or services relevant to major projects and procurement pipelines across Western Sydney
- Are ready to engage with active buyers and demonstrate their capability in a competitive environment
- Have the capacity to deliver within the next 12 to 18 months
- Are seeking to build new relationships and expand their networks within the local supply chain
- Are committed to contributing to the growth and sustainability of the Western Sydney economy
Whether you are an established supplier or an emerging business ready to scale, this initiative is designed to connect you with the right opportunities and decision-makers.
