Networking Event: Business Leaders Together for Families at Ronald McDonald House Charities
How Business Leaders Make a Difference
Join business leaders for an exclusive behind the scenes immersive event that combines meaningful networking with genuine impact. Connect with like minded professionals in a relaxed and welcoming setting while hearing powerful stories from Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney (RMHC GWS) about the vital role they play in supporting families with seriously ill or injured children.
RMHC GWS provides a home away from home for families whose children are receiving life saving treatment at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Many families travel long distances for care, leaving behind their homes, jobs, and support networks. RMHC GWS exists to keep families close to what matters most, close to the hospital and close to each other, so they can focus on their child’s recovery without added financial or emotional strain.
What to Expect
Hear first hand stories that bring to life how RMHC GWS provides safe accommodation, daily meals, education support, and spaces of respite for families during their most challenging times.
Attendees will also meet Molly Croft, Two Time Osteosarcoma Survivor and President and Co Founder of The Tie Dye Project, who will share her personal experience and the impact of community support during treatment.
You’ll learn from RMHC, who will provide a House Tour for those interested in learning more about the House and how the business community helps keep families together. Discover how your participation can make a real and lasting difference.
If you are ready to connect with purpose and support families when they need it most, we invite you to join us.
All ticket proceeds are donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney.
Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney provides a home away from home for families with seriously ill or injured children receiving life saving treatment at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. In 2025, we provided safe, fully supported accommodation for 1,696 families in our 60 room House.
Many families travel long distances for treatment, leaving behind their homes, jobs and support networks, causing significant financial and emotional strain. Our mission is simple but powerful - to keep them close: close to the hospital and close to each other - so they can focus solely on their child’s recovery without added stresses, and so children have the strength, stability and comfort only their loved ones can provide during their toughest days.
Beyond accommodation, we offer wrap around care such as daily meals, education and tutoring through our on-site Learning Centre, and our Day Pass Program, which gives any family receiving treatment at the hospital a place of respite. Our services also help ease pressure on the healthcare system by freeing up hospital beds, so more children in need can receive treatment sooner.
