This International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, Northcott is raising funds to support young people with disability to build independence and new skills.

Funds raised on the day, and throughout our Summer Appeal, will ensure that young people like Sidny can access the resources they need to shine.

Sidny, 27, is a passionate artist whose determination and creativity inspire everyone around her. She has a love of all things creative, from painting and crocheting to making jewellery and, most recently, photography. This is where she shines and has been working towards making her passions her livelihood.

For Sidny, creativity alone is not enough. She wants confidence, independence. and to feel safe in her own home while being able to do things on her own.
Through Northcott Life Skill Programs, Sidny has learned skills that support her independence and self-confidence. These programs have been crucial in her journey to autonomy.

We need your help! Every donation we receive on 3 December 2025 will be doubled, creating double the impact for young people with disability.
