Keynote Speaker
The Hon Dominic Perrottet MP | Premier of NSW
Dominic Perrottet is the 46th Premier of NSW, having served as NSW Treasurer for almost 5 years, and as Finance Minister for 2 years.
Growing up in Sydney’s north western suburbs – where he still lives with his wife Helen and their 7 children – Dominic is passionate about finding new and better ways for aspirational families in NSW to get ahead, with a particular focus on increasing home ownership, delivering strong economic and fiscal management, creating new job opportunities, and delivering both major and local infrastructure to make communities more liveable.
Since entering NSW Parliament in 2011, Dominic has been a driving force for reform, leading the rollout of Service NSW and establishing NSW’s first Productivity Commission to increase economic opportunity. He has also worked to reduce the tax burden (particularly payroll tax) and increase support for aspirational families through initiatives like the Active Kids voucher program.
A cornerstone of Dominic’s leadership through the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent NSW floods has been his close engagement with the people and businesses most affected, putting into practice his philosophy that modern government services and support must be built around people.
Dominic has a passion for Australian history and heritage, he is Australia’s first Millennial political leader, a sports fanatic, and a one-eyed West Tigers fan.
