The 2023 GISU International Research Symposium is a one-day hybrid event co-hosted by Guangzhou University and Western Sydney University. It is an initiative of the Alliance of Guangzhou International Sister-City Universities* and is supported by the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Global Development and Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Barney Glover.

The symposium theme is Business Rejuvenation, Resilience, and Creativity in a Changing World and Post Pandemic Future and it features research papers across the following areas:

• Tourism, Hospitality and Events
• Smart Cities: liveability, workability and sustainability
• Entrepreneurship and advanced technologies
• AI and technology management.

We have exciting research presentations and poster displays from a range of Australian and international presenters.
