Nominations are now open for the 2015 UWS Women of the West Awards

Celebrate the achievements of women in our region – women from different parts of the community including business and local industry, education, health, charity and community groups – who are committed to improving the local community and the lives of others. Nominates these inspirational women for, WSBC gold member, the University of Western Sydney's Women of the West Awards. 

The awards were established by the University to recognise the significant contributions and achievements of women from the Greater Western Sydney region.

Nominations are open for the following categories:

• Women of the West
• Young Women of the West (specifically for women aged between 18 & 28 years old)

The winner of each category will receive a grant of $5,000 to further develop their leadership and advocacy work in their local community.

Entries close Friday 12 December 2014.

The winners will be publicly announced at the UWS International Women's Day celebrations in March 2015.
