Brendon brings over 25 years of experience in legal and commercial to his role as a President of WSBC. Since 2000, Brendon has specialised in corporate and commercial law and is a Capital Equity Partner of HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, Australia’s largest legal partnership. He deeply understands Western Sydney’s dynamics and business landscape via his legal practice, having been Chair of WSBC for over a decade and living in Western Sydney. Brendon acts for clients across the full business landscape from SME's through to large and listed companies, Government and international and overseas clients.

He is currently a Non-Executive Board Member of WentWest Limited, the largest Primary Health Network in Australia and is a member of WentWest's Finance and Risk Management committee. He is also a current member of the Western Sydney University External Advisory Committee for the School of Business.

His experience extends to having been a committee member of the Western Parkland City Authority’s Western Sydney Procurement Steering Committee and Brendon has previously served on the boards of a listed technology company, sports organisation and on advisory boards in the civil construction, property development and not-for-profit charity sectors. Brendon also served on the Western Sydney Appeals Committee for the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute between 2016 and 2019.
