Expressions of interest are sought from the members of the community who desire to work with Riverside and City of Parramatta Council as part of the Riverside Advisory Board. The board works to promote Riverside as a centre of creative excellence and innovation, and Parramatta as a place to visit for arts and culture. The current board’s term will conclude in September 2018. The new Board will be appointed for the balance of current term of Council concluding September 2020.

The Riverside Advisory Board sets strategic directions for the successful operations of the Theatres and its members are advocates for the place of Riverside in the cultural, entertainment, performance and event calendars of Parramatta and Western Sydney.

The Board advises City of Parramatta Council on the activities of the Theatres, the Theatres’ strategic and business plans, the raising of external funds from government, the private sector and individuals and the development of Riverside Theatres and the surrounding precinct.

You may have an interest or expertise in the performing arts and/or you may have management, financial, marketing, education or legal expertise. Council is looking for community leaders who can energetically commit themselves to assisting Riverside in taking centre stage in Sydney’s Central City, Parramatta.

Council invites interested persons with appropriate skills to submit a written expression of interest by mail or email by 5.00 pm on Thursday 16 August, 2018.
